sitting at 7-2 then there would be something wrong with that because they have not faced many good teams.The only reason the Jets are sitting atop of the AFC East right now is because one of those two teams with a winning record that they beat just happened to be the New England Patriots and the other is the Miami Dolphins, both in the AFC East.This will all change when the Jets go to New England on Monday Night Football on Dec. 6, where the Patriots have not lost in nearly four years in the regular season.The Patriots will win that game and take over first place in the AFC East for good. I know Rex Ryan is getting a lot of hype around the league and he is doing a great job, but yet again I don't think he could hold Bill Belichick's jockstrap on Sundays.What BB has done with this defense that started four rookies last night in Sunday Night Football in Pittsburgh was simply amazing.The Patriots defense allowed just three points in the first three quarters before sitting back in the prevent which eventually allowed the Steelers to throw up some numbers. The Patriots added four sacks and an interceptions for a touchdown to seal the deal.Belichick is simply the best defensive mind in football and with Tom Brady running your offense, that allows BB to just focus on the defense all the time.The Patriots are simply too good at home and too well disciplined to not win the AFC East this year.I know that the Jets are perfect on the road this season, but the Patriots, so far, are perfect at home too, and I think that the Patriots' streak will last a whole lot longer than the Jets streak.Coming down the stretch, the Jets' toughest three games are coming on the road in New England, in Pittsburgh and in Chicago. These are going to be tough tasks for a young QB to go in and win, and I personally don't know if Sanchez can come out of these last three road games with a winning record.A 2-1 record will be almost impossible for Sanchez and the Jets, and 1-2 seems much more likely. On the other side, the Patriots' toughest road game will be in Chicago and their toughest games are coming against the Jets, Colts and Packers in Gillette, where it seems like the Patriots just don't lose.Coming down the stretch, there is a clear opportunity for the Patriots to pull away in the AFC East.
