To add to the talent, Robert Gallery is on the verge of being a Pro Bowl Guard. OT Mario Henderson made Richard Seymour, Mario Williams and Gaines Adams disappear in the 3 games at the end of the season last year. Ad Khalif Barnes at the other Tackle spot, a younger, healthier, former 2nd rd pick in Samson Satele at Center, who hasn't missed a game since being drafted and the offensive line is going to be more effective as well as more depth with the addition of Erik Pears and Marcus Johnson. Also, they have the best back up QB in the NFL in Jeff Garcia, 4 time pro bowler. They have also added a great well of experience to impart to their incredibly young team with the signings of Lorenzo Neal, Jeff Garcia and Greg Ellis. Now you add Darius Heyward Bey, one of the top 3 WR's in the draft, he was #3 in my book but others had him at #1 or #2, and the fastest guy at the combine who will demand respect and open up the middle of the field as he stretches it and is also a better downfield blocker than Crabtree, who may not even play this year as a hold out, along with Louis Murphy who has shown in camp he has great talent and the emerging Chaz Schilens and Johnnie Lee Higgins coupled with a finally healthy Javon Walker and the offense is balanced and potentially explosive. The defense adds talent and leadership and replaces Burgess with Greg Ellis, much better against the run then Burgess and had more sacks than him last year also and throw Mike Mitchell in the secondary and it looks like someone is going to get decapitated this year if they try to run across the middle on a route. The fear factor is back and also the coaching. The players are buying whatever Cable is selling and the new defensive coordinator is going to be blitzing a lot more this year as well, making for a more aggressive defense and why not?
